Seeing Red

Red, roja, rouge, rossa

Attention grabbing, but not attention seeking

Like a rose, delicate and dangerous

Gentleness with pointy edges

Piercing slightly making blood trickle

Drip, drip, splat, boom

Fiery and explosive

Radiant like a ray of sunshine

Bronzed sun-kissed skin glows

Hot steamy danger 

Vibrant intense pulsing 

Rage, madness, chaos

Commanding power and immense clarity 

Alive, alert, absolute

Fierce like fighting for your life

Yet like a rose, delicate and dangerous

    This reminds me of Job 13 yet though they slay me I will trust him,,,, Roses are delicate ,but the stem is prickly…. Sometimes we have to go through hell in life by trial and lessons .When we fully trust in the lord through the rough times the end becomes much greater ❤️Like the smell of soft 🌹 this piece was powerful and It in spired me to keep going in spite of ….
