Regret

It’s not something I deal with

I don’t allow regret in my life

You live and you learn

Accept the consequences and do better next time

Sorry doesn’t fix it

Beating yourself up won’t make you better or stronger

Being sad about it isn’t going to change what you did or what happened.

So why regret?

It’s something to make you feel bad, that’s its purpose.

Maybe that bad feeling drives you to do something good.

But why make yourself feel bad?

I don’t like feeling bad, so I won’t put that on myself by myself

When you regret you think about what you would’ve, could’ve or should have

That’s not real. It can’t be answered.

You’ll never know. Why use precious time wondering what you would’ve, could’ve or should’ve done?

Everything happens for a reason.

God allows you free will to choose.

I was raised to believe you always have a choice. No matter what you always have a choice.

When you make the choices that you choose you also choose those consequences

I’ve never dwelled on the shoulda, coulda, wouldas

Because if it could’ve, it would’ve.

If it could’ve, it should’ve.

It didn’t.

Its over and done.

Choose wisely.
